In partnership with Teller (of Penn and Teller fame), The Omaha Magical Society creates a tribute to historical Omaha magician David P. Abbott, his wife, Fannie, and their magical inventiveness.
Those who visit The Abbott House can view not only some of the rare artifacts used by the Abbotts as part of their in-home performances but also enjoy their most popular magic inventions demonstrated in the 1920’s drawing room where they performed them over one hundred years ago.
Visits to the house are limited to small groups by appointment only.
Use the button below to read more about this unusual house from the Omaha World Herald, watch a short video synopsis of David Abbott’s impact on magic and see some ways you can get involved - contributing to the success of this historical project.
*This is the second phase of the club’s historical preservation initiative. The first phase was the successful assembling of a 1200 volume Magic Research Library now housed on the campus of the University of Nebraska at Omaha.
